Babar (Cartoons)
Babar is a fictional elephant, a hero of childhood and youth literature created by Jean de Brunhoff. After his mother was killed by a hunter, Babar the elephant leaves his jungle and arrives exhausted in a big city, where he befriends the Old Lady who provides for his education. After a short time, he finally returns to the elephant clan fleeing the hunter. Following the death of the king having eaten poisonous mushrooms, and having foiled the plans of the hunter and released his family, Babar is crowned king (kingdom of Babar), marries his cousin Celeste, restores peace and founds the city of Celesteville in which each animal people builds its house with its particular architecture and lives according to its own customs.
