Alf (Cartoons)
Gordon Shumway aka ALF was born from the union of Bob and Flo Shumway on August 28, 1757 on the Melmac planet. On August 28, 1985 (the Melmacians live 650 years), the Melmac planet explodes as a result of a nuclear holocaust. Gordon nevertheless managed to escape in space ship before the disaster. Lost in space, he roams a long time (almost a year) before coming crashing to Earth on a garage at 167 Hemdale Street in Los Angeles, home of the Tanner, a family of American suburbanites without history. Gordon being unable to repair his ship, the Tanner, who nicknamed him Alf (Alien Life Form), agree to house him for life. The Tanner will have to hide Alf in the eyes of all, to prevent this small hairy 1.20 meter becomes a laboratory animal. But Alf wants to understand everything that is happening on his new planet and it completely upsets the life of Tanner. The latter will quickly understand that hiding a Melmacian is not easy, but his kindness and ignorance of the earthly customs make him endearing, despite his crazy ideas (such as wanting to eat cats, these being considered a Delicious on Melmac) who regularly train the family in complicated, even dangerous situations for Alf.
